Boys-Track.jpg

This past weekend the lady Skyhawks participated in their first Outdoor Track and Field meet at J.R Tucker High School.

The Skyhawks were led by senior Kaielle Pollard and freshman L’Nya Carpenter.

Pollard, set the tone of the meet by placing 6th in the 100 meter hurdles and Carpenter placed 7th in the long jump. To close the meet the girls 4×4 meter relay came together to run an amazing time that earned them a third place finish. The relay included  Takeah Wallace, Brina Bently, L’Nya Carpenter, and Tinyia Harris.

The ladies did an awesome job at the meet and will continue to strive towards excellence. They will compete again on April 19th at Highland Springs High School.
